Events for the next six months: 
  • After-School Tutorial Program Helping Elementary through High School students with homework, study strategies, and test taking tips. This event is held every Wednesday, 4:30 - 6:00 pm, Beulah First Baptist Church (BFBC), Office area, 109 McGriff Street, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32549. Snacks are provided.   • Graduation Readiness Program This is a program that will be helping Senior High School students research, complete, and submit scholarship applications. If you are interested in other areas such as, military enrollment and trade schools, we will help connect you to individuals in various careers.   • Future Builders of America is an effort with the Building Industry Association that help young people understand the construction trade and entrepreneurship. This program includes training opportunities, internships, small business startup guides, required recordkeeping, marketing and sustainability plans.   • Computer Assistance and Training We have over 45 laptops available for youth and adults to use. All parents that will be sending their child to tutorial program are asked to stop in and see how their child will be using the computers and give approval for them to participate in training. The computers are available to adults as one-on-one help, just complete the event sign up form below for David Harris.

  • The 4th Annual Panhandle Cultural Enrichment Tour planning is in effect now! This program is a collaborative effort with community sponsors, and YOU to develop forums of higher education, vocational training and support to students as they navigate through life's chapters. The historical Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) Gospel Choir has agreed to perform again February 21-23, 2020.   • Students, grades Pre-K-K12, enrolled at NWFSC DRS

  • Students scoring below Level 3 on reading, math and/or science (FCAT 2008)

  • Students with Disabilities (ESE)

  • English Language Learners (ELL)

  • Thursday reserved for field experiences & career shadowing
